Phase 2 Development

Sediment Removal/Slope Restoration Project.

Beginning with existing sediment being removed from the bayou basin; next, the addition of new rip rap (boulders) in the existing basin to reduce a full “wash-out” from the adjoining outflow pipe.  The next activity was spreading the rip rap out in the refurbished bayou basin followed by restoring the adjusted water level through the existing dam spillway and including a wildlife educational stand. The final result is the pristine eco-friendly environment of those efforts.
